Quality Control
Quality control is a critical aspect of any successful Utility Vegetation Management program. UVM is a subjective field, and work product adherence to regulations and scope can vary greatly. We have performed quality control work for over two decades and have first-hand knowledge of how a robust QC program can drive consistency, improve safety, meet regulatory requirements and save money.
Services include:
- Inspection Review
Continuous review of inspection work provides an ongoing measurement of adherence to regulatory and utility requirements, ensuring that UVM goals are met. We sample or look at 100% of inspection work performed in a specified geographic area or period of time. We verify that trees were properly identified for work and that none were missed. We also assess tree and location information to ensure database integrity, and so tree companies can efficiently locate and work on listed trees. - Tree Work Review
Like inspection work, we assess completed tree work to ensure all listed trees were addressed as prescribed. We verify work was performed in accordance with ANSI standards and that the site was left clean. We serve as the last set of eyes on a project, and confirm that all sites comply with regulations and conform with your standards and scope. - Pole Clearing Review
Where firebreaks are required around poles, we verify they meet requirements and confirm clearing was performed to your standards.
